I can't believe i forgot my blogger username... That is why it took me awhile to post something aside from that welcome note... what a way to follow up on that, don't you think... anyway.
I got my new computer last sunday, 11 June and I have a funny story to go with it...
My wife, the twins, my 8 year old nephew, francis, and I went to the newly opened SM Mall of Asia to buy a new computer. The thing is... this mall is supposedly one of the BIGGEST mall in all of asia.. being our first time to be there, we fancied walking around amidst the sea of people who decided to see the mall that very same day. Before we even found the building where they house the multitude of computer stores, I was already beat. So after scouting around for the best deal, we finally picked one package that we particularly liked. Because they will be assembling the computer and installing some components.. The sales guy said it would take a while... A couple of hours at the very least. Already tired from the earlier "swim" at the sea of mallrats, we decided to sit our lazy bums in front of an unopened store beside a Delifrance branch. We were sitting there for a few minutes already when one of the twins fell asleep in my arms. Then HE appeared (actually my wife pointed him out.) Henry Sy, owner of the SM chain of Malls and the Philippines Trillionaire. He was on a wheelchair on his way to DELIFRANCE!!!! and are we sitting on his way? no, I looked at Francis and he was lying on the floor. blocking Henry Sy's path... his numerous bodyguards wasn't he rude guys as I expected them to be... They were actually polite in gesturing for us to give Mr. Sy a clear path.....
Oh well, that is one day at the mall I won't soon forget... Imagine almost being run over by Henry Sy's wheelchair...
