Celebrating eighteenth birthdays are a part of Filipino culture. I don't really know if we got this tradition from the Spanish colonizers or the Chinese settlers (I didn't bother to research on it, so sue me.) but today, it ranks up there with weddings as one of the most important events for a lady.Every little girl dreams of being a princess for one night. This is the night that she leaves behind the little girl and step into her colorful wings as a woman. With her wings she takes flight... The love from her family and friends as the wind beneath her wings.
